VW T5.1 conversion completed July 2021

The original van was a 2013 T5.1 Caravelle with 63,000 miles on the clock. Hayley had originally intended to buy an already converted van, but just prior to a potential purchase decided to take a look at one of the vans we had recently done, and was persuaded ! The outline process was as follows - strip the van interior, clean and degrease, insulate, fit the ply lining, wiring and 240v, lithium battery and flooring. Fit an Austops pop top, fully carpet line, fit Rusty Lee twin seat swivel, the Majestic slimline furniture, kitchen and gas, new glass, and then the 130 Smartbed. Trust us there was a lot more - including front and rear spoiler, fog lights awning rail, paint correction and machine polish, not to mention 18 inch Momo alloys and a coilover kit. We think it looks great !
